10 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED AFTER RECEIVING INSULIN IN THEIR FLU SHOT

A scary time for people who believe in the flu shot, after reports say 10 different people have been hospitalized from what they thought was a shot to help fight the flu, but turned out to be insulin instead. According to CTV news, the incident took place at a Oklahoma care facility on Wednesday. Two of the patience actually worked at the Jacquelyn House, while the other 8 were said to be residents of the facility. Police chief Tracy Roles claimed at a news conference, that multiple people were found unresponsive when they arrived on the scene, and that they were unable to explain their issues. “All these people are symptomatic, lying on the ground, needing help, but they can’t communicate what they need,” stated Roles. “That’s why I give a lot of praise to the fire and EMS staff for doing an outstanding job of identifying the problem.” A statement from the CEO of Ability Works say that the pharmacist who injected the insulin, was just a contractor who went to the facility on Wednesday to administer the flu shot to residents and employees. Police are saying that several of the people effected by the insulin still remain in the hospital. For more details on this story, click on the link below.
