16-YEAR-OLD KID WINS $3 MILLION PLAYING FORTNITE

A 16-year-old Pennsylvania boy by the name of Kyle Giersdorf, has received a whopping $3 million reward over the weekend for winning a eSports tournament. Gamers who took place in the Fortnite World Cup, were battling it out for over $30 million in prizes at the massive New York tournament that took place on Sunday. After hours of intense gaming, a player who goes by the gamer tag “Bugha,” was able to come out on top for the $3 million prise for winning the solo finals sector with 59 points. The Fortnite champion had a few words to say about his massive victory. “Everything I’ve done, the grind, it’s all paid off,” Geirsdorf said after recently signing to Los Angeles’s very own eSports team, the Sentinels. “It’s just insane.” Will the newly formed eSports become the next be ‘sport’ or will gamers still remain on the bench?
