Good news for all you fans of classic television game show Jeopardy, as host Alex Trebek has just released a video revealing that his cancer is now “near remission.” The long-time game show host was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in March. The video was uploaded to Trebek’s YouTube channel on week later, where he tells everyone that he had cried on the set of Jeopardy during his cancer treatment, but now doctors feel like his treatment is moving in a positive direction. The 78-year old announced, “The doctors said they hadn’t seen this kind of positive result in their memory…some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent.” Unfortunately, we are not completely out of the clear of the cancer yet but when Alex learned he was nearing remission, he said that he had cried, “But they were tears of joy, not tears of depression, then continued, “I’ve got a couple million people out there who have expressed their good thoughts, their positive energy directed towards me in their prayers. I told the doctors, this has to be more than just the chemo, and they agreed it could very well be an important part of this.” What do you guys think, was this some kind of Jeopardy miracle?
