TEACHER IN INDIANA GIVES ‘MOST ANNOYING’ AWARD TO STUDENT WITH AUTISM

Well a school in Indiana is in some trouble after a teacher from the Bailly Preparatory Academy issued an award for ‘most annoying’ to one of it’s students with autism. According to CTV news, Estella Castegon says her son Akalis is non-verbal and occasionally rocks back and forth and shakes, a condition in which the mother says the school should be well aware of. “You’d think one would understand the conditions of autism and have more patience to deal with children who suffer from autism,” Estella told a local television station from her home in Gary, Indiana on Tuesday. To the shock of parents, Akalis received his trophy along with a plaque and star with the school’s name misspelled on it. Since giving out the award, the Indiana school has issued a formal apology, for more details click the lick below.
