What would have been your typical thriller movie only a few years back, is now becoming a real life nightmare after Ontario officials order a province-wide shut down of any non-essential businesses. The decision was made after the province saw an increase of over 70 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. According to CBC News, Ontario Premier Doug Ford made the announcement during a conference meeting on Monday afternoon, where he claimed that the lock down would only last 14 days. “The decision was not made lightly, and the gravity of this order does not escape me,” Doug explained. “Every Ontarian must do their part. If you can, please stay home, only leave if necessary.” The order is to come into effect March 24 at 11:59.
