It’s a moment Canadians have been anxiously hoping would not come, after B.C. announces that a man has died from Corona virus. This will mark Canada’s first official death caused by the deadly outbreak. According to Global News, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has confirmed that the man was one of two people from a North Vancouver care home that were diagnosed with COVID-19 last week. Dr. Bonnie described the patient as a man in his 80’s with underlying health conditions, who passed away on Sunday night.
