After 34 long years of waiting, fans will finally get to see the first official trailer for the sequel to 1986’s iconic Top Gun movie, starring Tom Cruise. The scientology expert will be returning to play the roll of Peter ‘Maverick’ Mitchell along side former co-star Val Kilmer. According to Complex, some of the other members of the cast include actors such as Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris along with a few other big names not yet released. The sequel film will be directed by Joseph Kosininski and will take place with Tom’s ‘Maverick’ being the new flight instructor of Top Gun with Teller playing the roll of a rookie pilot named Bradley Bradshaw.
